Delivery of the training course  Printer-friendly Version

Evaluation-methodology is inter-disciplinary and a solid evaluation training course would require that each discipline is given due time. Especs aims to provide a long (8 to 10 weeks) training course. Realising that our trainee target group may not be able to follow an uninterrupted 10 weeks course, we will deliver the course in a modular way. The partial Web-delivery of some training components will contribute to the flexibility of our training programme.

By scheduling the required training modules over a longer period of time, the trainee target group will be able to follow and complete the course in accordance with their workschedules. The staggered delivery of the modules has the added advantage that the trainee will be able to practice what has been taught, and Especs will create an inter-active discussion with the trainee on the practical relevance of each module.

The modules will be structured as stand-alone modules. This will enable trainees to select or skip certain modules, and this adds to the flexibility in the delivery of the complete training course.

A short summary course of about 10 days will be organised. This course is useful for those who do not have the time, but need to be informed on the evaluation issues. This summary course is also relevant for staff of HR and Training departments, that have to decide on the training the staff of their organisation requires in the field of evaluation, or it could even be made part of a short-evaluation mission.
