Facilitation of courses on the introduction of the MIS (Piramide) for the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs  Printer-friendly Version

Year:         2002
Client:     Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Country:  The Netherlands and Kenya

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Netherlands commissioned the development of a new Management Information System in the mid nineties. After various try outs, the system with direct lines with all Dutch embassies, was declared operational in 2002. Henk van Loo (Especs) was one of the trainers invited by the Ministry to make the staff of the embassies familiar with Piramide. This was done during a series of workshops in Nairobi (Kenya). The challenge was to bridge the thinking of the participants (for a major part following the lines of the project cycle) with the internal logic of the MIS.
